- Start your day with sunshine - Rise and shine! Firstly, when i wake up in the morning around 8-9am, I'll check my handphone notifcations and laze in bed for around 10-15 minutes. Then wash my face and brush my teeth and go about my beauty routine... Then I will prepare breakfast(coffee and toast). After taking my medications, I will do some yoga at home outside at the patio and I'm ready for the day! Get set and go!
- Keep a steady sleep schedule - I like to stick to a sleep schedule. I usually sleep at 8-9pm at night. I've been sticking to this sleep routine for a few months now. I will wash my face and brush my teeth, go about my beauty routine and get ready for bed. I will lie on the bed and check my phone. I will spray some pillow mist, light a scented candle and take some melatonin pills to get to sleep... I will also drink some hot lemon honey or warm milk. If I still can't get to sleep, I will put on some meditation and soothing music and lights off at 9pm. Then I will wake up next day at 8-9am in the morning feeling refreshed and rejuvenated!
- Keep virtually connected - I will scroll through my facebook and instagram feed everyday for 30 minutes... And I'll chat with my friends and family through WhatsApp and Line everyday. I will also connect with my followers on instagram and twitter now and then to stay updated with the world.
- Keep healthy snacks and drinks on hand - Always keep fruits and biscuits by your side while working from home... You can also keep herbal tea and H20 by your side to keep yourself hydrated.
- Consider supplementing with Vitamin D - Vitamin D is sometimes called the “sunshine vitamin” because it’s produced in your skin in response to sunlight. It’s a fat-soluble vitamin in a family of compounds that includes viatmins D-1,D-2 and D-3. Your body produces vitamin D naturally when it’s directly exposed to sunlight. You can also get it through certain foods and supplements to ensure adequate levels of the vitamin in your blood. Getting a sufficient amount of vitamin D is important for normal growth and development of bones and teeth, as well as improved resistance against certain diseases. Vitamin D fights disease, reduces depression and boosts weight loss.
