Benefits of staying home ~

  • Safe and comfy 
By staying at home, you reduce unnecessary stress from the outside world. You don't need to worry about chaotic transport and traffic situations. You also definitely won't need to worry about stressful social interaction. 

Your main goal is to survive life unscathed from unnecessary accidents or trauma which is not desirable. 

Too much cortisol and chronic stress can interfere with serotonin, making you feel tense and less happy. Low levels of serotonin can also lead to depression and anxiety and impact your quality of life.

  • Get more rest
Continuous stress affects nearly all the body’s physical functions. 

Living with too much stress can lead to:
Migraines and fatigue
High blood pressure
Digestive problems
Weakened immune system
Increased risk of heart disease and diabetes

Serotonin is also produce in your brain’s as mood stabilizer when you get more rest. 

It helps you feel calm, focused and emotionally balanced. 

Positive well-being can result in:
Lower blood pressure and heart rate
Reduced muscle tension and stress
Improved digestion
Better sleep

In addition to these physical effects, higher serotonin can lead to more productivity, stronger social connections and daily self-care when you get more rest. 

  • Feel more positive 
Accumulating positive emotions is about finding small joys daily while working toward a life worth living

Happiness isn’t a one-time achievement. It’s something you build over time.

People who have a positive outlook on life and live by their values are more likely to feel confident and manage stress well. This confidence helps them tackle challenges, including health barriers.

For example, having a healthy balance of serotonin and cortisol helps your body stay in good shape. This balance can make recovery from an illness or surgery easier to manage.

  • More time to get things done and learning
If you have a positive outlook on life, you are more likely to want to keep up healthy routines like eating well and exercising regularly. 

You'll have more time to practice mindfulness ie self care routine, meditate or do yoga. You'll also have more time to clean your house and learn other things. 

Physical activity like walking, dancing, and gardening can also ramp up your energy and lift your mood. 

Taking short breaks from your work ie having a cup of tea or coffee can also have a positive effects on your health. 

  • Avoid the sun reduced the risk for skin cancer

TRAVELOGUE: TANJONG BEACH CLUB AT SENTOSA

Went for a fun family outing to Tanjong beach club Sentosa!


My nephew loves playing with the sand and he's such a little cutie~



We ordered fish and chips, salad, burger and calamari... And the total bill add up to around $100.


We even took a cable car ride to Fort Siloso station!


Had a fun day! Love to do it again!

BEAUTY REVIEWS: JUDYDOLL FRESH MATTE CUSHION


Hi there!

Today I'm going to review about this BB cushion from Judydoll!

Judydoll is a popular beauty brand founded in 2017 in Shanghai China.

I bought this bb cushion in beige from Watsons for less than $25. It comes in a pretty pink packaging!

It consists of centella asiatica, chamomile extract, tea leaf extract and rosemary extract. It comes with SPF50 PA ++ and it's matte. 

When I apply it on my face, it gives a velvety smooth finish which I really like...

But although it says it's matte, when I use an oil blotter on my face after 1 hour it's still oily...

So I only give this product a 8.5/10! Still highly reccomended and worth a try!

My mother usually blend the frozen blueberries with dairy milk and let us  drink it... Did I mentioned I love it! Taste like smoothies and very yummy. 

My skin looks radiant and less dull. And there's lesser breakouts after drinking the blueberries smoothies... lol
