7 Ways to Take Care of Your Mental Health~



1. Music
It is said that music soothes the most savage beast, i could not agree more. When you're feeling down, frustrated, or have nothing to do, switch on the radio and listen to some music... So much so you know what's going on in the world and you maintain your brain's activeness. I feel relax when i listen to music and i can fall asleep fast while listening to music... It cures me of my depression and anxiety.

2. Travelling
It's good to go for a quick getaway every year to celebrate your birthday or any other occasions with your family or friends... It helps to chase away the blues and boredom when you are going sightseeing instead of cooping up at home... It helps broaden your worlds' perspectives and knowledge. The more you learn, the healthier you become...

3. Positivity
It's always good to maintain a positive attitude and adjust yourself accordingly to the surroundings... It's good to feel positive and learn new things as you grow and accept your mental conditions. You can go for baking or cooking courses to occupy your life with positivity... Positivity also allows you to heal yourself of mental illness faster. Do some house works or chores and incorporate it into your daily routine to train disciplinary and determination in oneself.

4. Friends and Family
Friends and family plays a big part in looking after your mental health. It's good to have the love and support from your family...Your friends and relatives can help you cope with mental illness through chatting or observations... Your family can provide feedback to the doctor about your mental health conditions. Maintain a close relationship with them and they can aid you whenever you need. 

5. Exercise
Learn yoga. jogging or meditations. It's a good form of  exercise.  They promotes well-being and blood circulations. By exercising you occupy your time and soothes anxiety. It's good to be with nature to promote good mental health...

6. Counselling
It's good to meet up with a counsellor once a month to chat about your mental conditions. Provide them with feedback about your medications and daily routine. Spend at least 15-30 mins with them so that they can more easily track your progress and mental health conditions...

7. Medications
Always take your prescribed medications as per doctors' advice regularly.... Give the doctor feedback about the medications so that they know how you are coping...
